Genius. Simply Genius.

I think there are a lot of people not prepared too, drive like absolute pillocks because modern cars are so numb they don't realise how close to the limit they are, then crash... road closed

Just behind a car today, no brake lights working, quite bad at the best of time.

[(I think in Germany they just use sand as using rock salt is prohibited)

its the same in parts of the states, they stick up warning signs telling you it a no salt area! out there its to stop the contamination of the local water supplies!

Closed the two main roads out of Sussex and my own road is so iced,

I got in the car at 5.30 this morning and drove out of sussex no problem ! Go figure . . .

The a23 and a24 have both had crashes on them, talking of not being prepared were anyone else's town centre pedestrianised bit not gritted? Worthing was a flipping nightmare - the casualty department was full of xmas shoppers!

Thats Worthing for you !

I heard a good one from a council employee.....apparently, the new batch of gritting lorries they have just had delivered (?) can only dispense grit at speeds of over 40 MPH........!

hence the shitty little roads remain shitty

dunno if its true or not, but sort of makes sense..............
