Again some are missing the point. In the same way if you mention problems with immigration then some label you a racist for having a different view, some are labelling those with a religious view against marriage in church by the same sex as homophobic and stuck in the dark ages.
So I will enlighten a few in a way they will understand better.
RB has it's own rules, say those rules have been in place for a long time then along comes a minority group and absolutely insists on rule changes that would benefit that minority but would offend a number of members and would change irrevicably the way RB would be.
Now to get what they want they can get that in many other forums but they have chosen to join this deliberately not to change their lives but force a change onto others, what would you do?
The church largely has always said no to same sex marriage, is there other ways than forcing billions to go against thier faith in order for those few to get married? of course there is, there are many gay marriages that take place not within the church.
The church and it's billions should not have one of their core beliefs taken away from them just because a very very small minority want to inflict that change.
The church has never stopped gay people getting married, all they have asked is that thier stance and beliefs be respected too.
