What a vocal minority group of homosexuals are pushing for here is not equality; they already have complete equality. If they wish to get married, they can; if they wish to have the same rights in a same-sex civil partnership, they can.
A married couple is a husband and a wife. Sorry, but that's a fact, like an African is from Africa, or a piano is a stringed musical instrument. Demanding "Gay" "marriage" is like calling a spade a drinking vessel; you're simply redefining something so that in the end it completely loses its meaning through vagueness.
It's very true that the homosexual lobby and their supporters are some of the most intolerant groups out there - put your head above the parapet to disagree with anything they say and the thoughtless zombie lynch mobs come screaming after you, no matter how logical, well reasoned and non-aggressive your point or stance may be.
