Any thoughts as to recent bikes that may have the potential to become 'future classics'. I'm going to say; Santa Cruz superlight.

I'm suddenly deeply concerned that this has all been done before, oh well in for a penny....... :D

I hate to say it 'cause I'm not terribly fond of them...but for sure any On-One. Achieved hysterical cult-status in their own life time so no doubt will be classics...very soon.
Oh...and apologies to you On-One fans out there...just that my mate had one and I thought it looked...and rode, very average (ly) :?

agree the onone will be holding its value over the years

the dmr rhythm will be fondly remembered by a generation of uk dirt jumpers

ill throw a part in - the charge spoon in brown leather ti rails , probably the current day flite

I suppose the first dedicated singlespeed mountain bikes will get a look in. Beyond that, I'm not sure.
And before anyone thinks I'm a reactionary old git, I honestly believe we're around the corner from a new wave of machines that will become classics in the future.

I've seen nothing in modern day mtb's that will be a future classic. it's the manufactures pretending to be new & exciting. When cycling doesn't need it.

to be fair were the wrong generation of riders to really decide what the current generation looks back in years to come with blurry eyes to
