I'm sure I've missed a few bargains in the last few days on ebay ........

A Rock Lobster full Titanium frame ended at £182 the other day (reasonable postage ~ £20), not sure how much it's actually worth, but the raw ti would be close to that, wouldn't it?

Today a mint pait of Hope Ti skewers ended at £18 (£3.50 postage), along with a hope ti front hub at 99p (again £3.50 postage). I need to stop forgetting about these watched items............... :evil:

I don't quite understand how anything is somehow "worth" more that it actually sells for in an open market auction - in this instance one with a pretty large base of potential buyers.
Other than stuff with an intrinsic value, any item is surely "worth" only what someone will pay?

Mind you, painting it pink must have devalued it (or at least limited the number of buyers). I really don't expect to see gordan riding a pink bike around town anytime soon!

Well.. just got back form the hospital last night, after my wifes contractions slowed right down.. no baby yet! We're knackered! She's 4 cm dilated but we now have to wait again for it all to start again...
bit gutted the Funk went for such a low price but ive no time to split and sell in bits - and need funds for the new childrens room furniture, so all good in the end really.
