Yeah I had thought about keeping it a secret as i've been on the look out for a Funk since joining this site but I'm just too honest
Forks I have never seen or even knew existed and are probably rarer than rocking horse poo. Maybe someone here will give me there box forked fully built up NOS Funk in return for my honesty. maybe?
It looks a year older than the one I originally owned, used to love that bike, really sorry I had to sell it but needed the cash to buy the next bike. Mine had slightly later forks and they were basically manitou copies, so they offered some travel but they weren't great. Forks seem on the high side with opener at 150. I might bid on these two. Relive my youth, lol.
true, the biggest is the rear mech hanger replacement, i dont recall them having these and on my bike the one time i slightly bent the rear end it was so solid the local bike shop warmed it and straightened it without issue, makes me wonder if it has been added later, odd.
This is a later frame as it has relieved headtube and the welded cablestops.
Never seen one with the relieved BB but that looks original.
The cable hanger looks.......well.......well dodgy, actually.
