FS Shimano XTR Components c1994

Dirt Disciple
For Sale - Original Shimano XTR components from the mid nineties.

These are the first version of Shimanos top end groupset and have various revolutionary design elements to them.

Comprising:
  • Hollowtech chainset (middle and inner rings are worn, first hollowtech cranks)
Bottom bracket (the first version of the splined system)
V-brakes, cartridge pads, noodles and levers (the first parralelogram system
Rear mech (the first mid length cage)
Front mech (with seperate inner and outer plates - the best front mech I have ever used)
    Gear levers (one shroud missing)

These are all used parts, and have associated wear showing (e.g. crank arms).

These would make a truely amazing addition to a top flight bike of the era, such as the Orange Vitamin T2 titanium that they came off originally (available seperately, or as a combined package for a perfect project)

£200 for the components, £1000 for the Vit T2, or £1150 combined (ovno). I'd rather the lot went in one go, as this would return the bike to it's former glory.

Viewing available in Sheffield.

M900 was the first XTR groupset, introduced in 1992. These are M950, the second generation and from 1995.

and I'm almost certain we've been using Medium Cage rear mechs way before that...
