Retro Newbie
Very nice condition except for a small daub of paint and a tear in the saddle. Any interest? I need the garage space, so £40 posted ONO

There was one of these used by the boatmen at wroxham . didnt have any mud guards but looked really really cool !!

:D WOW a blast from the past
This is the first bike i ever rode ,in fact learned to ride on
it was my sisters when we lived in cranfield[age 5]
I'd take it from the back garden and just disappear for hours worrying everyone
Couldn't brake ,i just jumped off and let the bike do its own thing
Hers was blue

Is for me too :) , i remember a mate having one when i was 8 or 9, that was a Puch picnic but looked very similar to this one, i think i had a Panther at the time (an immitation Chopper, never had a real Chopper)

It is indeed a cool thing 8)

the bike me parents got me after that ,,1 of me own
Was a raleigh chipper ,had it for years
35 years on and my new shiny bike is another raleigh

Yeah , it was the mini chopper for little kids[aged 6 up],large handlebars smaller front wheel,The saddle was a mini chopper style
Mine was yellow too and in much the same condition

I had a Raleigh Tomohawk (sp?) when i was that age which is like a mini Chipper i think

Would still love a mint Chopper someday 8)

Sorry to the original poster if this thread is turning into a kids bike history lesson  :)

I've Got a mrk2 chopper frame + fork in red [frame needs welding in two places]and the wheels +tyres, rear is dated 73. 9 [august 1973]
been meaning to rebuild it for 20 years

Im trying to talk my sister into buying the puch in this post[ ]
She needs a bike as the kids are bike age and need to do some miles

Think of it this way ,we're bumping this for you :D
Looks v well looked after
Oh Go On ,keep it :D ,take off the pedals[dead easy] loosen then turn the bars parallel to the frame ,stick it in a box ,it will take up hardly any room[paint the box even, make a feature of it]
Now for the sensible bit --PETROL AINT GOING TO GET CHEAPER!!
Plus you'll increase your lifespan, fitness level ,lifts even the darkest of moods and a whole bunch of other stuff too numerous to list :D
