Hi, a neat hack I've used on my Ribble was to take a 1inch 1/8 10 mm carbon headset spacer I had kicking around and cut it in half across its diameter.. works perfectly with no slip. ☺

Did the headset spacer hack work out ok for you..?

I used a 1” to 1 1/8” steerer tube shim that I had spare. Managed to get a few sets out it.
