Classic mini project

My first car was a 1968 Morris Mini when I was 16, with sliding windows and a nylon cord to open the doors. . I think it had about 10bhp (rather than 100!) it was 850cc, It had rust all over it and some had replaced the boot floor with a steel roadsign! Anyway, worked three jobs all summer to get the replacement parts from the local scrapyard and a friend of my Dad's welded it up and resprayed it (and showed me how). Drove all over the place in it and loved it... I rolled it eventually, but that's another story. I then had a 1976 1000cc one that had brown velour seats and was a diarrhoea colour .... Still have a soft spot for them...

Big brother story . Him self and a mate used to rally a Mini back in the 1970's, which they rolled over . They managed to start it again . However until another competitor came past they were unsure of their direction of travel .
I have always told him he can't use and map and compass.
