Looks like he'll be ok. I've been rooting for him because of his retro paint job and black leathers.

it seems the race was red lfagged due to his bike being on fire, rather than because of the severity of the accident.

he was concious throughout the crash which is good but is said to have chest pains.

silly bugger better be alright

ed. more friend of a friend i guess. i have ridden with him 3 or 4 times (mountainbikes) and drank tea in his workshop! he is very good friends with 3 or 4 of my friends but i try to stay out of the way - dont want him thinking i'm a glory friend if you know what i mean.

you really couldnt ask for a nicer bloke. has absolutely no idea he's famous.

just had an update. he had bruised his lungs and has "light" fractures on his spine. dont really know what constitutes a light fracture or how many vertibrae but he seems to be ok

watching it on itv4 a few days ago they briefly showed him in his tent at the tt with his mtb, no idea what make it was.

sounds like he got off lightly considering, very lucky.

He looked really p*ssed off after his pit lane speeding penalty cost him earlier in the week, but hugely focused.
Could have been a lot worse god forbid.
I have been unfortunate enough to lose to mates on the island over the years :cry:

It is a savage place. Sorry to hear about your friends. It must be so so hard to deal with. I guess it might make it easier knowing they were doing what they love.

I suspect guy's bike will have been his orange.
