Just came across your website and thought it would be an ideal place to hopefully pass on an old bike i have had in my garage for years. I'm not trying to sell it just pass it on to someone who will use it. As long as any of your members are willing to collect it then they are welcome to it. It's an Elswick Stag. Condition is Ok. It has rust on the front forks, one of the rear spokes is broken and it will need new tyres. As far as i can tell it has all its original parts, derailler, cranks etc. So may be of use for spare parts. Is it possible for you to notify your members of this offer. I'm sorry if this is not done. I did register and try and post a notice myself but could not seem to do it.

I had an Elswick Stag a few years ago, I was a bit surprised to find it was built out of fairly decent Japanese cro-mo.

I had one too, lovely bike.

Tange No.2 tubing, (double butted and comparable to 531) 600 arabesque gears, tourney calipers and SR chainset. I've still got a magazine test somewhere, I'll have to find it and put it up.

There's been a couple on ebay lately, I was tempted by these but there's no space left in the garage!
