fir rim on unknown shimano (early cassette) hub. quite light, has alternating purple and blue alloy nipples
now here's the bad bit
the rim is incredibly concave - i wouldnt want to ride it more than a mile or two. if anyone wants it for the nipples or hub, which seems ok, get round to my place in north bristol before bin day (friday)
