Framebuilding courses

Most framebuilders say you should just get a load of tubes and experiment.

this works if you have a reasonable working knowledge of metalwork and a joining technique.

As a desk jockey, the bicycle academy taught me everything I needed to know

I've a good basic metalworking knowledge, but I want to be shown how to do this properly and with the correct tooling.
I've been off the tools for years and haven't touched an oxy acetylene kit since I was 17!
Coming away from the week with a custom fitted frame is a big draw too :D

The bicycle academy appeals to me as you can go back and use the equipment- do you go back often?

I have done a small amount of welding at Uni had the opportunity to do more (why didn't I? ) I feel from my own point of view a course would be wasted on me unless I was able to keep it up at home aswell.

Life has been in the way of me going back unfortunately. I'm making it a thing for 2014 thougg
