All the best,

@letmetalktomark,
to put your mind at rest mate I had exactly that frame and rigid for over 2 years and I'm a 6'6", 18 stone clumsy tw@t. The frame's an agro sponge, soaking up any harm you want to give it and a lovely twangy ride.

My frame is a Van Tuyl custom geometry (close tot 17inch) and puts 1780 trams on the scale. Frame tubing is Columbus Foco.

HF:
Nice. Bar the Spinergys. Can't stomach them.
Me neither :D Flash, but a bit flexy, specially when they twang if you glance the front tyre off a rock.
Back to the original 32 spoke Mavic Paris Dakars for me.

All the best,

Some of the frames i've (or i've had :oops: ), in 19/19.5" size: 1991 Breezer Lightning, 1850g; 1999 Ritchey Plexus, 1750g; 1998 Ritchey P20, 1700g; 1998 Rourke, 1792g.

I have just gotten a 94 Lee cooper mtb frame made from Columbus SL tubing,
It's a 19" and the seller said weight was 2.3kg (just over 5lbs)
It's got a 1-1/8th dia head tube,filleted and lugged I think!

Thoughts as to weather that's an ok weight?
