I have a virtually unmarked GT Pantera and want to keep it that way,any suggestions as to what polish i should use on the polished alloy frame any suggestions appreciated

If it's lacquered then all you can do is clean it and keep it away from road salt which will eat into the lacquer and make it look pretty shabby (you can strip it off and polish it up though).

Autosol is a favourite on bare aluminium but if it's already a nice shiny finish something non-abrasive may be better (someone will come along with an example soon!).

Some people wax the metal once it's polished - this helps cut the need to repolish as often as a high polish on an MTB as the finish dulls quite quickly if used often
 
I've read on here that Belgom is good. Others recommend an alloy wheel wax.

Autosol (I prefer Brasso) is abrasive, and not needed if your frame is nice already.
