Frame identification help

Blindside

Old School Hero
Hi all
Venturing across from MTB section!
Can anyone assist in identifying this frame? The pictures uploaded are all I have at present. It’s a pure guess that I’ve put this in correct forum age wise so apologies if it’s not
Thanks in advance, any input greatly appreciated
Ian

Patrick Schils of Marks Tey Essex sold a few of these back in the day under his then brand Diavolo. It was an early OEM frame from taiwan along the lines of similar frames from Aegis/kestrel/vitus -zx1 and Early Trek OCLVs etc . If i come up with the specific brand/factory i'll update the post. Pre 2000 its more like 1997 and theres not a whole load of pictures or info on the internet - it was probably sourced at a trade show. They didnt sell in big numbers, presumably it was expensive at the time and Aluminium was being pushed in lighter & stiffer framesets but it was the start of CFRP being affordable and brands like Gigantex and Trigon.

Massive thanks for that - was going to give up on that one. It’s a friends frame and it’s excellent to give it a name and a background
Really appreciate your input
