FOX vanilla FLOAT R 99 - Seals/Rebuild kit

My 99 air shock has finally give up the ability to hold air for too long and I need to get a seal kit but everyone seems to do 2000 up rebuild kits. Has anyone got any info re obtaining the correct seals . Are the rings made from special material ie ; normal correctly sized rings probably won;t do the job will they

I don't think you can get a pre-2000 seal kit anymore.

Any pics of the seals in question? They are just rubber O-rings, but certainly in the 2000+ seal kits they have specific shapes that aren't standard.

So I'm assuming if they are just plain rubber o rings which they appear to be(not nitrile or viton) then I can just repalce them at me local engineering firm, which can match the sizes.

I would think that you'd be OK with any O-ring that's the right size to seal and compatible with the Float fluid (essentially thick oil).
