Hi all

I'm after a fox F80 (not the terralogic one) with v brake mounts. Any condition considered but must have the brake mounts and a 1" 1/8 steerer.

cheers!

I'm about to rebuild a set of f80x I have using an rlc damper. Decals will be wrong of course but it will be an f80 rlc. It's in nice shape cosmetically but the rear of the brace is a little untidy. If you are interested let me know and I'll crack on with the rebuild, unless you fancy a project? The lockout threshold adjuster is a bit knarly too, but £8 will get you a new one online.

Re:

Here are some pics. I have swapped out the F80x damper for an RLC one, though the decals still say F80x of course. You can still get the F80RLC decals in the same style from Mojo for a couple of quid, which is what I was going to do, along with a set of v bosses, as I seem to only have one

The fork has been rebuilt with 7.5wt oil in the damper chamber (150) and air chamber (20) as per fox oil weight/volume guides and feels very nice and all the adjusters seem to do what they should.

The condition cosmetically is pretty darned nice, with a few marks from use on the lowers. The worst is some flaking to the paint within the rear of the 'light' brace. If I were keeping these, I'd get some sandpaper in there, smooth it down and add a lick of paint in a close colour, though again I think you can get touch up paint from mojo for a few pounds.

The upper legs have a couple of minor scratches but nothing that affects the performance and are fairly high up so won't make their way into the lowers too often in any case.

All in all a nice fork that has just had fresh oil, foam washers have had a nice bath in fluid, and look and work well. I'm looking for £80 plus post, which I reckon will only be around £5 or so via MyHermes.

Any use?

Thanks for the pics. I'll take them, pending steerer length.

Also, are the bushes ok? No sloppiness?

Bushes are fine, no sloppiness that I can tell. Will confirm Steerer length a bit later for you, I expect around 200mm.
