I liked the fact that the Monocoque carbon front end weighs less that the steel rear triangle. 900 grams in 1992....

Agreed he probably recently bought this for not a lot and is now trying to turn a profit, nothing wrong with that but might mean there is more discussion on the price to be had

It could do the same way as the Zinn the other day. Rapid bids in the first day and then no movement for a week or so, before the last flurry before the finish...

Down the road from me......Have asked the seller if I can come and have a look at it this week. .....will report back on condition and spec. (Assuming, that is, he doesnt accept my insultingly low BIN offer.....in which I will keep quiet)

Mate you are a legend, can you pay particular attention to the headtube and the rear triangle where it attaches to the monocoque for me, let me know if there is any movement..? that part isnt the end of the world, in fact its only the monocoque that really would be of concern to me. Any help would be grateful.

Tread with caution. I've known about this bike for a few years and this is the original photo, NOT supplied by this eBay seller. It could be legitimate but just throwing caution to the wind. If it's genuine, then it'll be a nice project for someone - and welcome to the club
