The police don't need to use bumblebee, they can use whatever auction they want.

Might have been nicked BITD, not recently. If the owner didn't report the crime and the police sell it on I don't think they have any legal claim to it. They'd have to prove it was owned/nicked from them months or years after the fact, which is virtually impossible.

Current top bidder went as far as £710 on the Zinn auction I hate scene bikes and auctions but I work in data analysis so can't help studying, analysing, predicting

So what your analysis is telling us, is that the current top bidder, is looking for a Decent bike within his Budget (what ever that may be.)

Also Not quite sure what you mean by SCENE bikes.....? IF you arent into a scene can i ask WHY are you here...? Much like the Zinn thread, here you are again...? But you say you arent into the Scene...?

Surely this whole RETROBIKE website is a Scene....?
