Well it looks like their about to ruin F1 for anyone without Sky  the BBC and Sky sharing the rights from 2012 :?

So they'll show half of the races each with the BBC showing extended highlights of the ones Sky show :?

Who wants to watch half a season of races :?

they should spend less money on most of the crap they do - reality stuff etc and more on sport. I give up on bbc telly, most of it is unwatchable. At least radio is good.

100% Agree. The BBC trash programs are so bad its totally crap and makes itv look good

This news has just put me in a bad mood for the rest f the day! Useless bar stewards!

So why exactly do we pay our TV licences now - F1 was pretty much the only thing other than about 10 episodes of Top Gear, that I watch on BBC...

Thieving gits!

It's not BBC's fault and I'm annoyed as well. F-ing Sky TV and Bernie wanting to make more money is the problem.

Watch the F1 ratings drop, from it's all time high.

Agreed and I feel sorry for all the BBC staff that will be affected by this.. Seen Martin Brundle's tweet, they knew nothing about it until this morning and he's not impressed...

Well done Bernie... Not

Bernie needs a gun shuved up his arse for this, totally not impressed at all. BLEEP, BLEEP, BLEEP etc

oh ****

Bernie is a total gimp, I distinctly remember him saying that Formula 1 would remain on free to air TV

It's also a part of the teams concorde agreement IIRC. OK technically it is still on free to air TV, but only half of the time. Bang out of order.

Step down Bernie before you destroy the sport you money grabbing little ****

I'd suspect that Bernie is about to get shafted in the courts and needs more money (yeah right) to pay off his court case about the sale of F1 a few years ago

Yep, that's F1 ruined.

It is the BBC's fault though. They still own the rights they SOLD them to SKY.

Hopefully the sponsors will kick off about this and show Bernie who actually is the most important in F1. The sponsors are not going to be happy when the 6M+ viewers on the BBC is reduced to way less than half on a subscription channel. They won't be prepared to spend as much if they are going to loose a big chunk of veiwing airtime.

The teams should be getting involved in this too. Is the concorde agreement signed by all yet? I imagine the UK based teams will be thinking long and hard now.

Put me in a right grump this morning this has
