Fork advice pls - 1993 Kona Lava Dome

Hi all, new to the forum so please forgive me if this is an easy question to answer!
Got a '93 Lava Dome which I have had from new. Many years ago I took the forks off and replaced them with a pair of 80mm sus forks. It rarely gets used but I want to put the correct Project Two's back on it! (cos it rides like a chopper)
However I have no idea what I did with them so I need to track some down. I assume they were 1 1/8" threaded but no idea of how long the steerer needs to be! It is an 18" bike.

Can anyone help???

If you still have the original threaded headset you need a 142mm steerer (or longer, in which case you could cut it down). You need it to be 39cm long from axle centre to crown race.

I used to know somebody called Dave Holmwood in Brighton, not you by any chance?
