for the weight weebie naysayers

So ... a £6000 super-aerodynamic racing bike versus an old badly maintained bike with 3 gears, badly inflated wider tyres and an upright riding position.
Pretty sure the aerodynamics and lack of maintenance were the deciding factor, not the weight.
 
Weight is an issue but so is gearing, ride position, stiffness of frame etc. The aerodynamics of the pro bike have next to no effect in that test so case for weight weenie is still not absolutely proved. Fun comparison though, the racer did get as he pointed out the track record at Hearne Hill for a 'Boris' Bike :LOL:
