i picked up this nice old Dawes to break for spares but it seems to good for that so before i do anybody on here want it .
brief spec is
21"/53cm frame with 21 1/2" /55cm top tube that at some point has been enamelled so no idea what is underneath or come to that what model or tubing , it is lugless in construction . frame no is D9756 .
27" lightly rusted chromed wheels that should clean up with some grafting , good raleigh racing tyres , wieman side pull brakes , unmatched levers on steel bar and a alloy stem . steel made in france 175 mm crank arms and double chainring that would polish up ok , pedale are rusty and wouldnt polish up .
mixed components on gear set up but 10 speed that operate via nice alloy down tube mounted clamp on levers that have a bird like creature pantographed on them .
i have only ridden this bike for just over 2 miles and all things considered it rides ok .
please note pics show short mudgaurds and dynamo set please note these will be removed before sale.
