selling this lovely british racing green 1996 kilauea which i have built up over the last few years. have replaced most of it e.g mavic 521 shimano hub wheels, quiled synchro stem (these used to be about £100 back in the day), shimano dx 7/8 speed thumby (i also have the left one which i will chuck in which sell for about 20 on ebay as a pair), kona risers, kona jacksh** grips. shimano deore v brakes front and rear, almost brand new specialized nimbus tyres with flak jacket (£30 a few months ago). middleburn chainring (now being run as an 8 speed for town but i have the remaining rings and bolts to make it back up to 21 gears if you wish. FSA seatpost, original kona impact headset, DMR V12 peddles, original project 2 forks 1 1/8 threaded. excuse the height of the seatpost i just chucked it back in after removing the lights and bolted it.

frame itself is 18inched Bottom bracket to seatpost. i am six foot and am right at the top of size that should be riding this bike. frame is totally solid no dents dings etc and being race lite is fast as you like. will be sad to see it go but have just built a new bike so this has to go.

the bike has the usual cable rubs and a few scracthes here and there but it is 12yo now so cant complain only real major scratches are on the rear chainstay due to the chainslap. would make a great commuter bike and could be easily single speeded.

Now price i personally think its worth about £200 its cost me way over that to put together. i will post it but would prefer colection from either glasgow or edinburgh.

cheers.

Isn't it this turquoise colour, not really BRG?

Wish I needed one incidentally, £200 is a very kind offer

Is it like this one? I only asked cos this one looks slightly different, and I wondered if it just needed de-oxidising or whether they did them in two slightly different colours.

£200 eh? I don't need it, no I really really don't.

and unfortunatley or fortunatley for your the first poster has now bought the bike and i am off the to spend the cash on other bits for other bikes. and so the cycle, see what i did there, continues.
