Having just bought a Klein I was faced with having to service the DT Swiss hubs on the Bontrager Race X Lite wheels that came with it. They were in quite a state and all the bearings were shot.
Now these wheels have DT Swiss (nee Hugi) hubs and the Race X models have a locking ring that holds the r/hand side bearing in the rear wheel.
So I ordered the hub service kit from the States. It arrived this morning and made the whole job easier (I still had to resort to a 4ft bar to get the locking ring off as I don't think the hubs have been serviced in the 15 years they have been on the road).
Anyway, I am now offering the kit out on loan to anyone who wants it. All I will ask is £5 for outbound postage, and that you pay return postage when you are finished with them.
