gonna stick my neck on the line and say i ride were ever i like within reason and as long as i dont hurt/offend anyone.most the places i ride are ok and ive never had a conflict.itll happen one day tho.

There was an article in Singletrack magazine a couple of months ago on the subject. Something along the lines of trespass is the first stage of access negotiation. I always feel uncomfortable using footpaths but if I come across anyone act politely and have never had an issue so far.

think you can only get arrested if you trespass on railway proberty iirc,getting a bollocking from a mardy farmer or walker is a small price to pay for freedom lol

You know you shouldnt be there, but if you do see someone be polite and 99% of the time it'll be fine.
