Fluro and Splatter Marin Eldridge Grade, all original.

I had this on t'bay last week but had no contact from the buyer, just waiting for the value fees to be returned to me before I can sell it on.
If no ones interested here Ill put it back up for auction at the end of the month.

Its totally original except the pedals. I have the original LX pedals to go back on but one needs a new spindle which I never got around to sourcing. Even the grips and saddle are original. It rides beautifully and I really dont think it has been ridden more than 1000 miles judging by what little wear it has accumilated.

The paint is still very vivid and hasn't gone white like some of these bikes. There are a few chips and scratches though as expected. Also the seat tube is stuck but has been soaking in penetrating oil for a few weeks, if I hadn't been ill for the last week I would have got it free'd off.

It achieved 150 at auction so looking for 165 posted. The bike is in warwickshire if anyones interested in collecting it.

I'd be really interested if you could get the seatpost out, it's one of my biggest no-no's when looking at a potential purchase

I wasn't trying to be condescending, ive been in the antique trade for years and on thing I get accused of regularly is being too cheap, I dont see it as a problem really. If I can earn a bit out of it then so should the next man.

As soon as I get my spine working properly then ill get it in the vice and give it the beans, unless someone buys it in the mean time. Penetrating oil and elbow grease has never failed me.

It's common courtesy not to comment on physical pricing on the forum.

Maybe with the stuck post it's about right, but if it was to be freed-up I'd say the asking price should at least have a 2 at the front.

I wasnt being pedantic i think its priced spot on to attract a potential buyer and as you can see on my profile i have one or two Marins in my 'fleet' Every bike ive had with a stuck seat post ive had to scrap cos i was unable to remedy it

I dont buy to sell really, im an enthusiast at the end of the day.
