Fluro and Splatter Marin Eldridge Grade, all original.

Maybe this should be moved to the "how much" thread. Its very interesting to read your opinions and I have no doubt that this should convince a purchaser that they are getting value for money. Maybe the no show ebayer will cough up while they still have the chance  .

MM, what have you tried to shift a post in the past?

Ive been a bit lucky as the bikes ive broken up have been 'run-of-the-mill' steeds.

Ive been toying with the idea of combining heat and oil in a controlled environment. For example putting the offending frame/seatpost in a hot oil bath but only my local chip shop has one of those due to the lack of industry in this country :(

i will have a cod and chips and a eldridge grade on the side please

love it

at that price it should sell, get the post out it should sell even better

i love flouro bikes :D

stubbsy :D

TBH I think the price is about right (and the auction proved this). You'd need two people that really wanted it to get much more through ebay.

Lovely bike BTW and I'd be in for it if I had the spare cash.

Seat post now free. Sadly the seat clamp copped it on the way out so ive replaced it with a period Zoom item.

Anyone interested?

I mean the clamp at the top of the seat post where it meets the saddle. That got well and truly minced up in the vice pulling it out and wont be able to clamp the saddle down anymore. I'll be keeping an eye out for a black 29mm seat post to replace it before it gets sold but the Zoom one will do for now.

The seat post clamp is welded to the frame, as you say. It has not been effected.
