It's all too easy for this type of conversation to whip up into hatred of a group of people. As it appears to be sliding toward.

And that's just ugly.

I'm not being unrealistic, just don't see how whipping up hatred of a whole community helps anyone.

You should tell the police that a vehicle without road tax was driving down your road and that they were looking in peoples gardens and stuff.
