I cant believe youre all using that bloody generalization again :shock: I've always felt this to be an intelligent forum full of intelligent people.

Yes i too have experienced some travelling folk being somewhat illegal in their activities ,but i have also lived with some,who put me up for several months when i was homeless ,these were real Romany ancestor gypsies.
I found them a hardy lot,very close and supportive to their family and friends and i suppose, wayward homeless teenagers

Not forgetting they're very mechanically minded and completely obsessed with mrk3 cortinas :shock:

i think there is a difference it the romany travellers and the gypsies we get round here. i was offering advise based on my own experiences. i am sure there are some very genuine people. trouble is none of them live round here

i could tell you about the time they conned an old women across the road from me by telling her they were from thames water and then proceeded to rob her house or the time gypsys threw stones at school kids and hit a teacher and cut her head open...but that would be generalisation, so obviously i cant.
