Flite Problem - Very uncomfortable!

Flite's are sexy to look at, but they are horribly uncomfortable. :cry:

Have to agree with you guys here, back in the day my Flite Ti always seemed perfectly comfortable, but this last year or so comfort seems to be going.
Strangely this seems to be inversely proportional to my body getting a little lardier.... I'm sure the two are not connected... surely not....

I spent my earlier years on a bonty ti, so in comparison the flites like an armchair

Me too but the Flite was more uncomfortable IMO

I'll hazard a "girlie" opinion on this one.

Had the same sort of problem with a female specific saddle and came to the conclusion it rubbed on the sitbones. Moving it back helped a bit so that I was sitting on the narrower part of the saddle but actually in the end I replaced it with one of those Flites pictured above supplied by a male friend.....

Strangely I find the Flite really comfortable - it's made me realise that the most comfortable saddle is not always the one you expect .... so sell it and ride something comfortable ... life's too short!

I think its a skinny arse you need for a flite,mine fits my old flite perfectly

I always used flites, but when i had a couple of years out of the saddle and went back to one my arse was sore for ages but i kept at it(too tight to buy another,lol) and now i`ve been using it again for about 5 years and it feels loverly.
