Fitting 'standard' shocks to an STS

Totally agree it would look especially crap on the sts.

The fugly one above looks like a simplified and cheaper version of this one.

This isn't my frame, but the problem is the shaft through the frame and finding a small body shock to fit. I have a risse that could work, either by using an amp version and having the shaft made so I can bolt it on as they fit on the amp rear triangle, or even a full shaft made to screw in to where the original end or eyelets are (I'd need something made with an air valve though).
