If I recall the Monatare was a semi-budget model i.g. made in Taiwan rather than fillet-braised. Can't work out if it's Deore or XC-Comp. Wheel QRs sadly illustrate that it's not XT & the book spec for the 1990 model does in fact say XC Comp but the cantis in the pic look like wide-profile Deore. Still, a nice True Temper Asian Fisher Cro-Mo frame.

That was me woo! I had more pics sent and it's mostly dx but with a xt rear mech. I've been told it's never been off road and has the original tyres on. I can't wait to get it.
