FiR rims on Parallax LX Hubs

Lovely pair of Orange branded titanium/gold coloured FiR rims with stainless spokes on black LX Parallax hubs (had an 8 speed cassette on).

Front is 2-crossed laced and rear is 3-crossed laced

Few scratches and some decals have come off, but overall in very good condition.

Hubs spin freely.

I have no use for them so thought someone on here might appreciate them.

No idea on value, but they aren't as common as Mavics so £120 posted in the UK.

Hey buddy, almost certain these aren't IMPES rims, I have a set almost NOS on the front and the lip is VERY pronounced - like about 5mm each side, unless my eyes are playing up I can't see the big lip on yours.

Hi Mate, thanks for the reply.

Do you have a close up of your lip?

Mine have a ridge by the top of the rim (gold section) over to where the brake surface is.

I'll try and get a better picture of it.

I have no idea which rims they are, I asked on here and that is what was suggested to me.

I'm more than happy to stand corrected

So couldn't really get a better pic of the shape and profile of the rims.

So drew this up, almost to scale.


The machined lip is about 1mm.

Any input on what they are is more than welcomed.
