Watched this for the first time the other day strange film but what a soundtrack. If it wasnt for the soundtrack and fit burds would have switched it off. Any other films saved by an excellent soundtrack?

I watched suckerpunch and was a bit bemused.

watched it again a couple of days later, paying more attention to the narration & some of the conversations & it all makes perfect sense.

got to agree with the music too, the soundtrack is epic. probably the best movie soundtrack since the crow in my opinion.

I went to the cinema to see it, and was totally blown away by the whole soundtrack/acoustics.

Thought it was a really clever and intelligent film...

Loved it when I watched it. Read a lot of complaints about the film by women about sexualisation of young girls and what have you but I thought the film told the story well and was visually stunning.

The Soundtrack is available on CD......or elsewhere.

1. Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) – Emily Browning
2. Army Of Me (Sucker Punch Remix) – Björk featuring Skunk Anansie
3. White Rabbit – Emiliana Torrini
4. I Want It All/We Will Rock You Mash-Up – Queen w/ Armageddon Aka Geddy
5. Search and Destroy – Skunk Anansie
6. Tomorrow Never Knows – Alison Mosshart and Carla Azar
7. Where Is My Mind? – Yoav featuring Emily Browning
8. Asleep – Emily Browning
9. Love Is the Drug – Carla Gugino and Oscar Isaac

Tracks 1,7,+8 feature Emily Browning (Babydoll) on vocals.

Mmm Baby Doll. Knew she did the version of Sweet Dreams which is excellent but not the others. Will get that one cheers.

i honestly thought it was the most disjointed film i'd ever seen, and i've seen alot of crap films.

other than the sound track and hot women i don't think it's got much going for it.

Skunk Anansie - LOVE THEM! To hear Skin's voice was one of the main reasons why I went to have my artificial cochlear implant, have never looked back since!

i was in the exact same boat - then i thought about it for a day or two and re-watched it with the missus.

paying attention to the dialogue second time around makes it all click into a very clever bit of cinema IMO.

some people simply won't like it, hell, i thought pulp fiction & reservoir dogs were disjointed & weird first time around. On a similar note, try watching memento (chris nolan film) if you've not already. That was even harder to follow until it got towards the end!
