I thought he was pretty good on his chat show.. sometimes better than others. Randomly he seemed genuinely appreciative, wildly inappropriate and sometimes just plain annoying.. and seeing him struggle to bucking fuggery with Eminem was quite peachy too

Can't remember the show I saw 'Winkles' on but she was funny as feck... possibly Celebrity Juice..... could've been Buzzcocks...

It's just... well... much of these shows on TV, these days, seems to have degenerated into an extension of Heat magazine, that's all.

I'm not saying chat shows were ever much more than celebs hawking their latest product - but at least in years gone by some seemed to have some actual substance.

What was that about Woss and Eminem? Was it something of a challenging interview - might actually be worth seeing if there's a clip of it on youtube...

I do vaguely recall her coming across as being as thick as a plank on Have I Got News For You, despite having gone to Cambridge.

As for Buzzcocks, on the series just gone thought Terry Wogan was superb as guest host. Good value and they really ought to ask him back again.

Aye.. seemed to me he was struggling really badly with Mr. Mathers.. Like he didn't 'get' what Wossy was on about..

No, Jack Dee did the show with Jedward in. Dee's doing a cracking job of hosting I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue on Radio 4, too - not quite the same as Humph's chairmanship, but still good in its own way.

First time I listened to the show, the other day, since Lyttelton, and thought Dee did an OK job - pretty good choice, really.

I wonder if Andy Hamilton would be another good candidate for it, too.
