Fillet brazed Woodrup circa 1989

So I picked this up last night.
I don’t know too much about it.
Never heard of Woodrup before but after a bit of googling it’s seems that are an old school frame/bike builder from Leeds.
I’d be grateful for any info regarding Woodrup bikes or any history of this actual bike.
I’m a Shimano man so info on the Campy Groupset too would be nice 👍

Good to see it in the fold, i would contact woodrup direct, see if they have records of its build, they wont have built many all terrain bikes I reckon.

Campagnolo groupset is very fitting but the rear derailleur looks like a road version. Period tange grips?Great to see you got the right seatpost and saddle for it too.

Looks Like a great bike, Fillet Brazed Tange Prestige, Campag......, Top Drawer, Good Score.

Woodrup Cycles, mainly roadie stuff from what I remember, Kirkstall Rd in Leeds. Campagnolo fits in with the Roadie theme. I used to run a short cage road rear mech on my MTB to save a few grams 😅.
Looks like a very nicely made frame too.

So I emailed Woodrup about the bike for info etc.
They replied today saying unfortunately documentation from that time has been lost or damaged over time so they don’t know when exactly the frame was made or built up.
They said there was only a handful of MTB frames made by themselves as they specialise in road bikes.
Judging by the pictures it was a high end build.

I’ve had another quick look over the bike and believe the Groupset is Centaur?
And maybe 1990 as the rear mech on the 89 didn’t have a rear tension adjuster but did on the 90?
Any Campag Experts know?
