Fiddling with my bike today and having some problems.

Rounded two nipples, just take it to a shop?

Vee brakes won't centre? Do i need to regrease the bearings/contact surfaces? The problem seems to move from side to side, adjusting the spring tension screw seems to fix it and then on next pull the problem has transferred to the other side.

ajust it less than you need to, then pull the lever 5 times. see how it looks. keep doing this until it's right

Vee's

Strip, de-grease, re grease and re assemble, thenback off the adjuster screws ,bend the torsion springs outward to give them a bit more bite, then use the adjusters to centre, but as previously mentioned ull on the lever three or four times, or manually waggle the brake arms from side to side, then let them self centre on own. Also double check that the noodle and cable is not placing any tension on the arms, may be the wrong noodle type, or the cable outer too long or short or badly routed.
