Nice video!

I used to love this side of gardening, I remember making friends with a small bird when I was clearing ivy from a garden wall once - it soon worked out that me tapping the wall meant a big fat juicy spider was just about to come running out! I very nearly got a robin eating out of my hand once but, as you may or may not know, Robins are horrible territorial bastards and a bigger one came along and bashed it out the way, never to be seen again!!!

lol i suspect he is THE bigger robin :D. had him feeding from my hand for a while now but now i have him coming to the arm of the sofa i no longer need to stand there with my arm held out :D.have seen him go through his court ship (feeding her the worms he takes from here). she went awol for a week or two ( was obviously on eggs in next doors garden as i can hear them now as mom and dad return) and now his Mrs has now started join him on his visits but isnt as brave a he is.. door step is the closest ive tempted her so far... awaiting them to bring the kids overs soon :)

Nice small speakers! 8)

I've got two Goldfinches that visit, they have a beautiful song. However, the feeder drops so much seed that I have a rat problem.

I'll solve your Rat problem free. Hate rats love shooting them.

I got two in the live trap the other day and shot them. Saw three cavorting around the trap at lunchtime.

Chased one around my lounge once with a length of tile trim (I was tiling my kitchen, and this was first to hand  ) like a Zulu warrior!
Got the b*stard in the end too.
Luckily I've not had any visitors since.

Love that video!
I've just started feeding a robin in my garden, but there are lots of cats around so I dont want to encourage it too much
