it was 31 degrees Celsius here today

now i know our colonial cousins deal with that all the time

and I have been left hobbling around the house all day after tearing a lump out of the back of my calf on a good ol' spd spin around and catch yourself trick...bast!

Done it a million times before, usually with no worse result than a scrape, this time there was lots of blood!

Had to go on a 'jolly' into London (well, Enfield. . which is sort of lLondon-ish and quite bad enough) to collect an engine for the wifes car.

The aircon on the truck is bust (some fool snapped one of the hoses off the compressor) so it was me, Wife and 3 kids - in a truck, scorchio, for a touch under 4 hours.

I wish I could absorb heat and store it for colder times of the year, I love heat

I was in Leicester Square, London on the day London recorded the hottest day since records began, that was hot, if I could have stored that heat I would have got through a couple of winters no probs
