Fausto Coppi bike, what model is this ?

Columbus Thron model named 'CAMPIONISSIMO'. Mid-late 90's/possibly early 2000's.

Bid on one recently, it was all chrome with green decals. Didn't win though.

Yes full bike £120.. All Iv done is given it a good clean, pedals and saddle and the odd touch up of red paint..

Thanks Martin but I’m tying to cut down all the spends on bikes! Well at least keep it from the wife lol..

I have just picked up a 1998 K28 it looks very similar to the K14 but made with Fausto Coppi 7000 aluminium tubing whereas the K14 I think has Columbus tubing. Mine has a Campagnolo transfer underneath the down tube which suggests it would have been equipped with Campagnolo gear to begin with, at the moment it has a mixture of SRAM and Shimano. The frame came minus wheels so it is running on borrowed wheels at the moment. It rides well, smooth and very agile.
