I think there’s been a sticker or decal on there. I’ve also attached a photo of the tube near the bottom bracket as they said this area is prone to rusting. I can’t see any evidence of it.

Not mine, frame is 20inch & clearly in need of TLC - restoration.

Have one in much nicer condition myself, and it is possibly my fave FAT Chance

RC 30s and a syncros cable hanger/noodle are worth best part of 200 quid (todays market)

Defo a caveat emptor buy. Bad pics, vague ad wording, looks like rust around the cable guides at least, so what else is lurking ? Looks like its original owner had taste, then subsequent owner/s didnt or it was half inched at some point Sure it will make silly money as the markets gone nuts lately.

Cannot see how that isn’t a replacement top tube at the very least.

Shame how someone’s proverbial pride and joy ends up like this.

I know we, here, make it our business to salvage and restore old mountain bikes - and have no doubt saved a great many from the fate of this poor Buck - but that frame cannot be economically saved.

Pity.

Yup, rusted out TT and beyond economic repair now….real shame.
