Here's a post I got from a US member and Fat expert -

I found the BOI to be less fragile than the Yo Eddy fork that preceded it. Excellent cross country rigid fork. I ran it with a brake booster as I was concerned with flexing under hard braking. I love the fork, and have owned a few more since then.
