Seat tube Lug narrows the choices a bit and the obviously oversize steerer tube has got to narrow it further. Looks Gary Fisher to me but it also looks like several others including Bridgestone and Diamondback :?

I removed the forks and headset tonight and weighed the frame and it came in at pretty much dead on 2kg, which isn't bad.

Rather than continuing to clutter the chat.
I did look through the Fisher archives but couldn't find anything that satisfactorily matched, but when I have more time I will trawl through more images from all the manufacturers suggested so far.
