Fade paint jobs for a fat; inspire me (stars n stripes?)

Been thinking white to turquoise to dark blue?

Also been thinking about going for a single colour but with some form of either splatter or sparkle. Thoughts.

Agreed , great Fat fades, sparkle wise, the Kandy Wild Cherry on my "88 Fat Chance is nice ( see my thread ,even if the pics don't do it justice), come alive when the sun comes out,also Sparkling Banana is a great colour

***EDIT*** , just took a look ,the colour in the thread does not show the sparkle, but it does !! honest !!

Now that's what I'm talking about. Loving the neon, rastas not bad either is it.

Anyone got anything with white involved? Not sure why, but feeling a love for plain old white, possibly fading into something, maybe even a splatter?

If you type ' Rocky Mountain Blizzard ' into google image search you should have plenty of white to something (gre, black, deep redish...) crop up. Not actually fades, but two tone or semi-faded using the maple leaf logo giving a similar but different effect.

Thanks for the input so far, inspiring stuff. Been thinking about the fatlanta idea and think it maybe has some mileage in it. Crazier thoughts are along the lines of the American flag: front forks and head tube in blue with white stars, fading into some red/white stripe/fade. Can't quite visualise the red/white, but thing the rest may work (or even in reverse, with the blue/stars at the rear?).

Another thought is a red white blue fade, or simply plain (ish) white with custom fatlanta style yo eddy decals. Thinking about the American roots of the frame.

Oh, on a slightly different topic, the roller for the front mech has been removed and I'm struggling to find a top pull suntour mech. Could I drill the seat tube and add a riv nut? Don't really fancy a problem solver unless I have to, and should I decide not to even respray the frame, I think a roller will be needed. Where on the tube should it sit?
