Itv's relationship with the bond films has just finished and soon you will only be able to watch bond films on....Sky

I don't hold out much hope for F1. The bbc's viewing figures will be drastically reduced to a point they won't be able to justify the spend and lets be honest bernie don't give a flying.

Motorwise the bbc sold the crown jewels in favour of a lot of radio and tv stations that added up together wouldn't get a F1 audience.

I don't have Sky, but I'm lucky in the fact that I have my Brother-in-law's Sky Go login, so that I can watch the F1 live online.

It's still not the same though... The BBC coverage this morning was just so much more entertaining and felt less "Americanised"..

I didn't even realise that the BBC had live coverage of this race until I read Lee Mackenzie's tweet. Needless to say, the laptop got switched off pretty quickly and I flicked over to BBC HD.

Rosberg on Pole too... Mercedes-engined cars looking good so far this season.

Oh, and Vettel didn't make it through Q2. Shame

Agree with that - it does seem like BBC should be the home for F1.

Although the only coverage I've seen, so far, has been Sky, this year - but they appear to have split up the team?

I always enjoyed Ben Edwards when he commentated on Indy Car / Champ Car / CART, but not sure about him and Coulthard - well perhaps more likely, I'm not sure about Coulthard as a commentator. Not that he seems to do anything hugely wrong, I just can't warm to him in the commentary box. Track-side pundit is another thing.

Never thought I'd actually say it, but I think I actually like having EJ at track-side.

Brundle and the pit guy appear to be on the Sky coverage - I think Brundle has become my favourite commentator. I actually think him and James Allen (shock, horror) were a great team as race commentators.

Sadly, for the foreseeable, I think the writing is on the wall, there.

I guess ratings, this year, will tell the tale. If it becomes financially viable, on-gonig, for Sky, I doubt any of the terrestrial channels will have the necessary means to wrestle it back.

I wasn't sure exactly what it was about Sky's coverage, until you put it into text - but that's about it - their coverage reminds me of coverage of Indycar / Champ Car / CART.

Sky should be broken up and sold off, along side all his rags.

I have detested them ever since they grabbed the football.

We want kids to grow up healthy. We need more athletic sport on television, and free online to watch.

The F1 coverage will likely disappear completely next season or so. Shame.

Quite a race in prospect for tomorrow. Schumi has his mojo back in my eyes. Whether that is enough for him to challenge for a win we shall see, but he will retire a happy man if he can turn that Mercedes team into winners. He may not be so happy to note what a dick he looks in this picture.
