Extracting broken torx disc screw stud

Hi Carl,

I have one of these in my tool kit, works every time, drill small hole 1st then fit the bit in your drill and operate in reverse, BINGO

They should be fine, Disc bolts are M5 the extractor has a taper reverse thread so will bite in and then wind the old stud out.

see im always getting the numbers wrong

if you bolt the disc on itl give you a guide for a large drill bit , a few turns should clean the surface of the broken bolt and leave you with the best chance of it being in the center for the tiny bits

drill a 2.5 mm hole and use a reverse thread grabber ...it will just unscrew ..takes about 5 minutes..
