it seems like the german entry, was in the charts, and had spent a number of weeks at no 1, so maybe we should collar our chart "talent" in order to try and win this, or maybe should just quit it, and let those funny little europeans just fight it out amongst themselves

I liked the Greek entry; just one lyric, in English, naturally - "Oompah".

I think we deserved to be last, our song was truly awful!

General standard of the songs has improved and so has the voting system. Much better show now that it used to be. Germany has only ever won it once before, and this year the song is actually quite good.

Can't believe the number of countries singing in English though, good on you France and Spain for singing in your own language.

The UK either needs to take it more seriously and try and produce a good song, UK artists top the world pop charts quite often after all or we need to give up. This half hearted taking the pee approach we currently have is winning us no friends.

If Israel gets to be in it then so should Lebanon and Syria who are geographically closer. Also whats with the everyone singing in English, we come last but everyone else sings in our language :?
